Nuno Andrade - Introduction

Hello everyone.

My name is Nuno Andrade, i'm 24 years old, speak from Portugal, and I am Mechanical Engineer, just by a year ago, more or less.

I have in common with you all, the love for this myth, Ferrari, love that goes back to childhood, I was always connected to the automobile world, Father, Uncles, Cousins, worked and working in this field, leaves you some "scars" (i did not find the right word).

Love begins with the typical miniature of Bburago, the Ferrari F40 (1:18), and Ferrari 250 LM (1:24), yet innocent I imagined myself driving one day those cars, I know today that it will be difficult to happen, but the dream is stroger, and its a day-by-day struggle for one day achieve that. Dream does not slow down, I know that one day I will have a Ferrari, this is one or the goal in life.

I tried several times to get an apprenticeship at Ferrari here in Portugal, Porto Viauto, I know that is hard, but Im still hoping...

Meanwhile, i have a friend who bought a 348 Gts, and he will give me the privilege of letting me help him make the revision of his car.

More about me, I love quite everything that have a engine and wheels, e try te follow as much as I can the Portuguese Racing's, e Rallye's, and the International Rounds by tv. I like photography, and miniatures modelig, I like as well classic and vintage cars, I have a Ford Escort Mk1 (no, no, not Rs or Mexico, or even Gt, eh eh...) from the year of 1974.

And its practically this, the dream remains, the struggle continues ...

Please cherish those dreams, they can come true you know! Perhaps one day you'll wake up and find yourself behind the wheel of your own Ferrari. It's not that far-fetched, I guess it started like that for a quite a few guys here...

Welcome Nuno. For years, I had a Ferrari model on my dresser. As I grew older, the dream never died for me either. You'll live your dream someday. FerrariLife is a great place to learn more about the mysterious marque known as Ferrari.
