Classic racing watch: Tag Heuer Monaco on James

We thought we'd try to highlight something other than Ferraris from time to time, and what better than a watch steeped in racing tradition. The Tag Heuer Monaco is one of the most recognizable watches ever, and one of our true favorites. It was perhaps most famously worn by Steve McQueen in Le Mans, above, in the iconic blue color scheme (although we're quite partial to the Gulf variant, too). It's also surprisingly affordable, if you compare it to other watches that are as famous.

Why didn't TAG continue the same rectangle dimension as the original worn by Steve?
