70s swagger: 1971 Ferrari 365GTC/4 - RHD on James
Our second car perhaps won't be as palatable to as many tongues as our first, but we still adore it.
What do you think, FerrariLife?
Our right-hand drive 365 GTC/4 offered is a 1971 model with Silver Blue coachwork and an original Tobacco leather/Zegna cloth interior. The Ferrari has been in the previous owners care for the last twenty-eight years, during which time it has covered fewer than 8,000 miles, but has always been garaged in a dry, heated environment when not in use. Accompanying paperwork includes a record of M.O.T. certificates dating back to 1979. The subject of an older bodywork restoration, it comes complete with MOT into March 2012, a handbook and a partially complete tool roll. Lighter and easier to drive than its Daytona sibling if less rewarding in extremis, a good 365 GTC/4 is nonetheless a car to savour - undervalued for many years the model remains among Maranello's best kept secrets. The car is completely original, All the dials and instruments work as they should. The carpets are also original and everything is very nice but from 1971! There are quite a few minor scratches and paint defects on the car, all of which could be remedied without great expense. The wheels and tyres are all good and the car is ready to go. These are very easy cars to live with, power steering and a comfortable ride, 4 seats in a wonderful 2 door front engined body. The car drives and runs very well although would benefit from a service just through lack of use. The mileage may very well be genuine as there are MOTs back to the eighties but it cannot be verified without history from new.

I like them. Probably won't buy one, but they have a definite place. And that colour is one of the best for one of these. Really very nice.

Very pretty GTC/4. Looks like Azzurro Hyperion paint, FER 106-A-32.

Every day I look around, and if nobody is shooting at me, it is a pretty good day.
