Hi there, great to meet you all today. There were some lovely cars there (mind you they were all red, apart from the Hurst Cali, which says something about the lamentable lack of yellow F cars in Ireland). All of them were clearly very well cared for and loved cars. I was struck how the paintwork on all the cars looked fairly indistinguishable considering the disparity in age. I look forward to other events. If you are looking for an Irish (non Ferrari in particular) motoring forum with a growing number of F car members and which is friendly and adult (well mostly) and organises excellent track days please see www.octane.ie That being said, F car ownership is always a minority proposition so I'm delighted that there is a dedicated forum with an Irish section. Good turnout yesterday from the Southern contingent. I was thoroughly disappointed that I could not partake in the full day, but it was nice to meet a few other local F Car owners even if only for an hour. Next time..... Anyone got any pics to post??? Barry Ferrari's: 360 Modena F1, 308 GT4 Other Italians: Ducati 916, Ducati 848 DD's: RR Sport, BMW 645ci, BMW 1200GS Adv. |
