Hi , looking at a car in the UK: #ZFFWA19C000064491. It is a 1986 GTS red/crema. It is the second such anomaly I have seen, both UK cars. Can any of you 328 experts comment on '19' cars that should be '20'. What is the likely explanation, Factory error? Ever heard of a GTB converted to GTS? Thanks, Nige |

Nige, I have never come across this myself. I checked my '89 GTS' number and it's a '20'. Converting a GTB to a GTS seems like a waste of time and unlikely when GTS outnumber GTB's by about 5 to 1 and the prices are similar. If a GTB owner wanted a GTS you would think they would just do a PX? Archie |

Could be a crashed and repaired car. May be it was rolled and the roof was too badly damaged to repair, so they just cut it out ?

Just a thought, there is a VIN plate on the top of the steering rack. From memory mine actually says that it is a 328 GTS on the plate. Might be worth you checking the plate on the models you've seen and watch out for it saying 328 GTB, if it does walk away. Alternatively, try checking with Ferrari GB or Maranello in the UK Archie |
