Dino Engine Number question

I have a chassis number 04160 for a 1972 246GTS.
How do i confirm the correct engine number?

I think its 0009927.

Can anyone assist please?

The only way I know of is to register your Dino with Ferrari to obtain the Heritage Certificate. You have to give them your chassis, engine, and gearbox numbers. When all match their records, they will give you the Heritage Certificate. This is all done on their owner's website.

When the Dino motors were being supplied by Fiat, they were sequentially numbered without regard to chassis numbering. Engine Type 135CS signifies for the Ferrari model.
