Was driving down the road this weekend and saw a silver 348 in the window of a VW dealership, upon further investigation I saw it was a 348 Serie Speciale! In any case:

Manufactured September 1992

ZFFRG36A1P0095569

Speciale ts

80/100

Exterior: Grigio - no shields (bummer)
Interior: Black seats with navy blue carpet/trim

It'll be the first in the registry! 8)

Sorry for the crappy pics, horrible light inside the dealership!

I was for sale at WWW.INTERSTATEMOTORSPORT.COM in januari, is this where you saw the car? It isn't mentioned on the site.

Nope, the car was at Shields Mitsubishi and VW in State College PA. I saw the car from the street one day, its a part of their collection/inventory. They also have a 348 yellow spider. They acquired the car for a doctor but he didnt want the car in the end. So now they're stuck with it. Thats probably where they got it from.

Doesn't look like it has the kevlar seats that are normally in the 348 speciale
