I have always found the guides to be a great help.

Couldn't agree more, though I must say they do focus the mind on buying Ferraris when perhaps I should be thinking of much more mundane uses for what little money I have!

I would NOT open that can of worms my friend on this site,

They still make my blood boil just hearing their name.

It is not a lot of money considering you'll be getting expert advice on the 355 (and any of the other Ferraris in the buying guides), and as a bonus you'll make friends for life, and learn a lot more than you can imagine.

Stick around, the return on the investment is quite unique in the current economic climate!

Yes but they haven't been on the road at the same time. Idea was to get rid of one (good one but RHD) and replace it by a restoration project (LHD). Things didn't quite work out that way. Both BB's will be going out the door and I hope to get another LHD 365BB in the near future.

I just became a Ferrari owner and found the buyers guide and advice I got from the Ferrari life community to be invaluable.
so spend the money, download the guides and start asking questions.

Hell you can even find out what haircuts cost around the world (see the 550 Maranello thread under pre purchase help.

That's quite interesting because the 550 is not a hair dresser's car.

Congrats on your purchase, I'm stoked for you and I hope you will keep sharing your experiences with us. Where are the pics?

She is getting a service and fluids and will be shipped to me, probably a couple of weeks. I'll get some pix up when I get her home.
