Hello everyone, I hate for this to be my first post on here but I ned some help. About a week ago I decided to use the master kill switch on my F430 located in the front storage compartment. I then proceeded to close the front because I did not want it to be open while it sat. What I failed to realize is that the front is opened by a electric switch in the cockpit. I need to move the car and cannot get to the master switch to turn back on. Is there a manuel front compartment latch that I can use? What I have done, with no success, is open the passenger foot panel and placed a charger on the battery in hopes that it would get power and yet no output. Please advise Thanks, Mark |

Hi Mark, Welcome to FerrariLife. Please don't hesitate to post your questions in the dedicated F430 section so that others can find them easily back ![]() It's normal that a charger will not allow you to open the front bonnet or activate any electrical equipment. There is indeed a lever you can use to manually open the front bonnet. Good luck and don't forget to do the relearn procedure after having switched on again the main switch Last edited by StefVan; 05-31-2012 at 08:39 AM. |

Slugger- Welcome to Ferrari Life. Bad news about your problem is the owners manual was probably in the front compartment and no way to get to it. Go to ferraridatabase.com and you can download an owner's manual for free and have it on your hard drive just in case.
