Every Wednesday evening, I hold a sort of 'salon' in Westwood Village (Los Angeles) in a cafe where I am joined by artists, filmmakers, intellectuals, tifosi and even the homeless. French racing driver Nelson Philippe, who will be at Indy this year, made a recent apearance and Tom Meade of Thomassima fame is a regular.

Wow, what a lovely eclectic bunch. Personally, I always find it fascinating talking to people who are not of the same walk of life as myself - I would love to attend someday as I think there would be food for decent conversation. If I'm in SoCal in the near future, I will send you a PM and perhaps I'll be lucky enough to attend. It sounds like a very special get-together. I hope all involved have a great time at these meetings in future - best of luck with them!

Wednesday morning, I am being interviewed by a television crew for a program on the Discovery Channel HD. The subject--the 250 GTO, evidently.

Wednesday evening, we'll be back at it in Westwood Village again.

I thought the Cannes FF was in May ? When are you departing for the Film Festival, Stephen ? Hopefully, I should be in LA no later than early April (first week or so ?). w/ smiles Jimmy

I was very pleasantly surprised to meet Jimmy Wednesday night. He must have stepped off the airplane to come directly to us. We enjoyed the photos he'd taken of a very special GTB and we all hope to see him again next week!

Terrific. I will be coming through LA at some point during the summer. Hope to be able to repeat Jimmy's visit.

krasnavian: I you will be in Europe in late May, why not stay an extra few days and join us for FLED #2: FLED #2 June 10-14 - Itinerary
our 1st meeting point will be near Reims.
