Default Scottish Italian Car and Bike Day 12th August 2012 Hopetoun House

Hi guys

New to this forum and posting about an event I help organise, in Scotland UK!

It is run for fun and charity. We had 350 cars (of which were about 45 Ferrari) and bikes and 1800 public there last year.

The event is very relaxed with no amplification or commentary.

Webiste is:

Yes indeed. We had bought our Boxer the day before last year's event. Turned up on spec and were very impressed by the warm welcome from the Scottish Ferrari community.
Definitely planning to return this year. Heartily recommended, and a good cause too.

Guys

For those attending:

PLEASE be nice when your driving through the housing estate up to the House.

PLEASE put some details of your car on the dashboard so people can read about your car

PLEASE tell the staff you are from FL or that your car is Italian to get to the special car park. ( a rocks throw from the porker parking

PLEASE come along and push any Italian car needing moved!

PLEASE be nice to the children and in particular the Sea Scouts who are giving their day up voluntarily

Thanks

Paul

Paul, you missed off one 'clause', so I'll add it!

If a spectator comes up to you and asks you to rev your engine please don't, as despite this being a terrific car show, full of enthusiasts and enthusiastic visitors, the owners of this pile don't care for engine noise as they seem to think the building will crumble...

Would be a good idea, last year they bumped their gums about my 16M's exhaust noise & I only took it to 6,000 rpm

lol

I asked again this year about a 1pm gun where everyone could rev their engines etc. They ASSURE me that the plaster will come off and the 17h lead windows would break!

However, you know how deaf I am and how litle I can hear what is going on in a noisy environment!!!

Peter did you see your 16m in the new video?

Paul

Great PR Paul and I see youve somehow managed to book great weather for the event too, it's to be 20C+ so here's to another great day!

I'll do my best to park quietly at Hopetoun, so apologies to the residents of Strachur, Arrochar, Balloch, Drymen, Kippen and Callandar, as I'll have to get my aural kicks on the way over.
