I know lots of FL'ers head to Montreal for F1, I am looking at driving up with Gertrude and the wife next year to my home city.

Anyone have tickets/passes lined up or suggestions where to stay (family and friends will not be the choice locale for this one)?

Anyone have any "must do" events we should plan for?

you might check my threads from the last couple of years, lot of info there. We used to bring quite a crew up from dc every year but it seems to have dwindled over the last few years. It depends on who is going and what you want to do. I usually fly solo but sort of with a group. I have been able to get some great deals. Lashss on this forum also puts together a trip with hotel, dinners, ect. I will most likely start a thread here a couple of months out to see if we can get anything together.

Any way you slice it though, it is a must do. specially since it is the only north american race (recently.)

we got ours through craigslist a couple days before the race! we usually have meet ups, including at the bud tent and sunday night dinner. to a greater or lesser extent, most of the guys i go up with stay at the same hotel and hang together throughout the weekend.
