I wish all of you a fantastic and succesful Fled. It is a pity I can't join this year, but I will really try to be present to the next one, so to know in person some of you. ciao Mauro _____________________________________ '99 550 Maranello Vintage Alfa Romeo: '53 1900 saloon, '58 2000 Spider Touring, '61 Giulietta Sprint, '64 2600 Sprint, '72 Montreal Bikes: '02 Ducati ST4s, '03 Kawasaki Z.1000 |

I have declined my mistresses' wishes to come along. They need to show up in a Ferrari for that. We shall have to rely on the supply of each given route's destination. Marcel is a real gentleman, as well as a Ferrari expert. Hope his health improves rapidly. Sounds like it is all coming together beautifully for FLED 6. I'm right now using the Zürich Airport Lounge computer awaiting my Lugano hop. Unfortunately no new computer yet, sorry .I am so tempted to take the Dino but I will likely take the 430 in order to be as sporty as possible. After another dozen of tankfulls of 98 octane plus led substitution, I have got to know the Dino very well. The weather has been extraordinary in Ticino lately. The Dino will likely need a new set of synchronization rings and new front shocks. Apart from that it is just so much fun. They have already fixed some issues since I got it back on the road, the most important issue being overhauling the steering - it is now wonderfully crisp inspite of the old-tech high profile tyres. I am impressed and considering how ordinary cars performed back in the early seventies it must have been a revelation to drive a Dino for the first time. Actually, it still is. If they fix the box and the shocks plus a list of minor malfunctions before Fled, I will be very tempted to go in the Dino!

Whoo, that sounds like a good deal for Jimmy. You three could get in serious, but fun, trouble in London.
