Ferrari Owners Group, Inc. is pleased to present the first annual FOG Road Rally. On Friday September 23rd, 2011 fifty Ferraris will depart, under CHP escort, from the North end of the Golden Gate Bridge on a media intensive charity Road Rally to Los Angles.

The purpose of the Road Rally is to raise much needed funds and awareness for the important work of the San Francisco Bay Area non-profit OPPORTUNITY IMPACT (Opportunity Impact) that supports the city's most disadvantaged youth.

Cars participating in the Road Rally will be wrapped in sponsor logos and will drive together to our ultimate destination, the Hyatt Century Plaza Hotel in Beverly Hills. First night (Friday) stop-over is the Mar Monte Hotel in Santa Barbara where we will have a special dinner with the Santa Barbara Cars & Coffee group. Saturday night’s events include a Driver’s & Navigator’s banquet dinner put on by Iron Chef participant and celebrity Chef Sam Choy and will be followed by live entertainment and a silent auction.

The FOG Road Rally weekend begins with a Driver’s & Navigator’s party held at Ferrari of San Francisco on Thursday September 22rd. Before the Rally launches on Friday the 23rd participants will share breakfast together at Piazza D'Angelo in Mill Valley where the street will be closed off for a showing of the cars and a media event. We also will have a showing of the cars in Beverly Hills on Saturday September 24th.

This FOG Road Rally will be a spectacle and will be broadly covered by news and automotive media. A maximum of fifty (50) Ferraris will be able to participate in the Rally this year. There are just 13 spots remaining. This event is open to all Ferrari owners in the US -- we can help coordinate truck-ins from out of state. Please join us!

We have negotiated an attractive room rate for both the Mar Monte in Santa Barbara and the Century Plaza in La. Our current Rally site does not yet have the links, but hopefully by the end of next week or early the next, we will have the new Rally site up with direct links for Rally bookings with both hotels. Departure breakfast, first day's lunch, banquet dinner, and closing breakfast are all covered in the registration fee, as is the launch party, keepsake shirt, catalogue, vinyl wraps, etc.

The Rally was a great success! We raised $60,000 for charity and everyone had a blast! We are presently gearing up for 2012 with a two night run to Las Vegas.
