Default Fled 3 - did it happen?

Well Gents,
I was working all last weekend and feeling sorry for myself because I assumed there was a small gathering of Ferrari's somewhere in the UK enjoying FLED 3.

Did it happen? Or have I missed a thread? Any pictures (just to make be feel worse for missing it)?

Barry

I hope you had lot's of fun and plenty of dry roads! I tried my best to join the last day but there was no plan. Hope you got my mail. I am very excited to see photos, especially of the Group 4 Vetroresina!

All the best!

We had a fantastic time, Barry, sorry you and Il Capo couldn't make it. Boxer will post a thread about it, and I will try and find my camera and upload some pics and video.

It happened, weather was excellent (especially for this time of year). We found some great roads, huge hedges, sheep & cows on the Moors, Hairibos at every petrol station, and excellent hotels. Overall definitely another epic.

Glad to hear it all went well. Someday we'll have to take a run to Ireland. I'd be happy to welcome you all here and show you around!

Really sorry I had to miss this years event. But looking forward to some pics nonetheless.

May I add that Boxer's organisation was excellent and the people attending wonderful.
The 39 year old Daytona behaved on its 3'000km trip just like expected (and hoped for).

Late butterfly on still "fresh yellow flower", as fall season became present in the UK as well.

Glad to hear that everything went well and safe. Love that shot there, 212Export ! I wonder why insects seem to prefer yellow as such. Curious mind. w/ smiles Jimmy

I don't post here (or anywhere for that matter) very often but I felt very privileged to attend FLED for the first time with my wife. We both thoroughly enjoyed the drives, the company, the choice of hotels and the food. I am looking forward to the next event. Many thanks for making us feel so welcome.

FLED 3 was fantastic, great cars accomodation drives company. Enjoying the 308 in this way makes all the more sense. Here's a picture of the magnificent Mo that led the way along some terrific routes. A quiet and restful fighter compared to hardcore XJR-15 that I had the privilege of Boxer taking me for a drive in. For a split second I removed the headphones believing it was not so loud. A wall of sound and I snapped the headphones back in double quick time. The XJR-15 is seriously loud and utterly addictive. It sounds and feels like a living animal, my new top of the list of forgotten supercars!

First time I have heard "Mo" described as quiet and restful
