Default FerrariLife @ Goodwood = GoodLife!

Hi all,

We had some talks about attending the Goodwood Revival 2010 and perhaps make it into a mini-FerrariLife meeting. I fear that we are too late to book group packages at hotels at this stage, so a proper FL organised event looks difficult but between Vitalone, Eve, my brother and myself, we will be attending and if any other FL members want to hook up we would welcome it! Could be for dinner, at the event, or whatever. Perhaps, even, we could schedule a drive through Wales before or after the weekend?

I'm interested in hearing your ideas, enthousiasm, etc..

Hope to see you there!

Great idea about adding Wales to the Goodwood adventure, Onno. FLED 2.5 was terrific and I am keen to visit Wales again-FLED 3.5?

I'd be interested in too. Any idea what dates we are talking about?

Revival is from 17 - 19 September. Perhaps two days of Wales before or after?

Provided this doesn't clash with Italian Moto GP (going on 2 wheels) - I should be ok for it. Though I really should buy a classic F to attend....!

Eventhough this means skipping classes I would not want to miss 3 days of sipping champagne in vintage clothing for anything - you know I'm up for it and the two days before or after also sound like a very good idea to me!

Or the lake district even.

And from the left field - Derbyshire Dales?

Sorry, Boxer, I think that is too much driving. I'd love to take a Ferrari to Scotland but for me that should be a separate trip, so we could take the ferry from Holland directly to Newcastle. I was thinking of tacking on 2, max 3 days to the Goodwood weekend, which allows you to do a decent slice of Wales. The sort of thing I had in mind is shown in the attachment, as a rough idea. Another reason is that I'll be in the GTC, to which I don't want to add too many miles. She's already going on a big trip in May of 5000km or more. The lake district I find a bit too far too.

But next year, I'd love to take the freshly restored Boxer to Scotland!

Wales trip could be great. If serious, suggest we get our Wales expert to recommend a route.
