FLED 2 1/2 is now a go. Dates are Oct 30-Nov 1 and the routing will be across southern England to the great driving roads of Wales. Meet location will be just west of London on Friday night for the traditional kick off dinner.

Early Saturday AM we would drive to Wales, Saturday PM and Sunday AM would be spent exploring the Welsh Route.

Sorry, I can't do that weekend, already have other plans which can't be changed. I was hoping the trip would be the following week

Hi guys,

I'm going to have to withdraw the Boxer from this trip, and this will likely result in me not participating. She's not well - it looks like a total engine rebuild will be necessary, even though she's had 2 rebuilds in the last 3,000 miles. I'll know more after the Goodwood Revival weekend. Let's hope for the best.

If leaving the 550 in the UK for a couple of weeks after the trip would help on the logistics, I might be able to help.

Can't make it i'm afraid, family occasion, october and november are manic.

I would have enjoyed wales in the car, as I usually take my bike.

The more fun roads tend to be towards the north, the dambusters lake is very picturesque but theres not a lot to do when you get there , theres a small road that goes right around it in a big loop.
Bit of a disppointment though when you find out theres no water the other side of the dam.

Be careful of the sheep nearly had several kill me, and i dont mean they are armed. they run out in front of you for what seems like a sheep version of chicken.
