Boy, do I feel meek. I don't even have the confidence to change the belts in a 308 and this guys rebuilding F40's. :-?

He still wouldn't have got a plaque at my latest car show... 8)

I'm willing to give that to her, even in the condition she's in.
It wouldn't matter to me, if i have to place her in a garage box for a few years, but eventually i will take care of her and bring that beauty back to life

I don't know about how much money it takes, but skill, time, a fully equipped garage and an understanding family probably help!

Wow. So when something is rebuilt like this how real is it? Does Ferrari have spare F40 parts? or does this get rebuilt using parts from another F40?

also check out Forza 42 and 45 on a burned down F40 wich has been rebuild to an F40 LM

Dirk, the car being discussed (by the owner, rebuilders, and others) in the link I provided is the same that was featured in the Forza articles you mention.
