Log in problems

Since a couple of day, I experience problems with login into F-Life. It sometimes askes me 5 times to log in again...and still unsuccessful. I thought maybe Andrew is working on the platform and sended him a PM, but that is still unanswered ? Any Idea about ? Help ? (Else and other logins are working without problems on my computer). Thanks !

No issue from my laptop, but the IPad wants me to log in each time I use it.

Could be the service from whatever country you are in. I have problems with Yahoo mail sometimes only in China. Works fine everywhere else and no one else has an issue. Go figure.

I have had similar problems, I know exactly what you mean.

I do use 3 different providers and I use them from 3 different locations and never encounter problems. Problem really seems related to the webside. Andrew ?!

Just curious about the symptoms?

1. Is the problem that whenever you visit the site you're having to login because it doesn't remember who you are?

2. Or is it that when you try to login, it is unsuccessful and you have to retry several times before the website lets you in?

It may be the case that when you log in, the next screen appears to be requesting you to log inonce more time. But if you then click on "Forum" on the top left, you will notice that you actually are logged in already.... Please try if that works... Happened to me a few days ago...

It is weird, you put in your username, your pw, then click the remember me, and hit enter, then it put's you right back to the same place. So you do this three times, and then say "F" it, and then it shows you are logged in??

It is not doing it today, but I believe it was doing it on Tuesday this week.

Check if it is your internet browser, sometimes it changes the settings on mine.

Look about your internet history options, could be not to save passwords.

I have the same problem on my droid. it asks for a login and then states a failure. When I cancel that screen and reopen it already knows who I am and lets me post. strange.

It is not doing it today, but I believe it was doing it on Tuesday this week.

The "remember me" issue is several months old, but the fix is well known and works.

FLife's "cookies" on your computer have become corrupted, and the fix is to delete them.

Each browser has a slightly different procedure on how to do this, but that's what needs to be done first. Once they're deleted, you should be able to login, click the "Remember Me" box and all will be well again

I tried deleting cookies and any cache. the problem still exists. I am leaning towards it being an issue with the forum. Tried multiple ISPs, devices, and browsers (IE, Firefox, chrome, Safari)

After all that testing, I'd be leaning toward it being issues with the forum as well!

We've notified Andrew now, so hopefully the cavalry will be arriving soon with a fix....
