Ok. Reading through these posts and I saw silly question that people ask you, and other interresting things... But is it fair to say that you will get treated differently when you pull up somewhere in a Ferrari? Do you get treated better? Worst? Do all the prices of things always seem a little higher, when you walk into an establishment from your Ferrari outside? Do people throw themselves at you or do they shy away from you?

Bottom line is what are some of the crazy things that have happened to you just cause you pulled up, or just while you are stopped at a red light...I'm sure lots of funny... Scarry... Sexy... Dangerous things must happen.

I was looking through this website about crashed exotics and saw a burnt Ferrari that some jealous A.HLE, threw a lit cigarette into it and it caught on fire.

And I was also loving the backpage section of this forum. very nice so that's why I was thinking that at any time you have to be expecting the unexpected

Right after I bought my 360, I was at the gas station filling up. A young woman came at me. I thought she was going to mug me. She extended her hand, introduced herself, and said,"You have an awesome car!". Weird, but it frightened me.

over the 13 years that i have had my car, everytime i go for a drive,,somebody always asks me what year it is, or they shower me with compliments. I remember cruising through Huntington Beach one Sunday, i was at a light, when a Gallardo was turning to head into downtown , i was turning north onto PCH,,a guy walking by said,,"thats a nice car (referring to the Lambo) but I like yours a lot more " i was so stoked. That 328 has such a magical design, that all these years later, people still love it.

Not necessarily in this order, but:

- How old is it -- then, WOW, that old!!! it looks brand new
- How much did it cost: I lie
- How fast does it go, or how fast have you gone in it? I lie
- "Ok, I'll trade ya'" : I usually say, "sure, here you go" and of course we both know it's a joke
- Don't know the exact figures on this and have heard it from others as well, but : Numerous springing of dickheads ramping up their vehicle about me then speeding off almost crashing innocent bystander vehicles about....BTW, don't know when their adrenelin subsides, but thinking they are way over the top for sometime.
- numerous 'racers' with nitro and all slamming all about me on a freeway and almost causing accidents too.
- thumbs up
- kids -- I mean REALLY young ones -- gasping where their parents have no clue.
- Adults gasping where the rest of their family in tow haven't a clue
- ignoring me, but breaking their necks trying to garner a look ya' gotcha
- People refusing to touch it, respecting it
- NUMEROUS pictures while driving, stopping, parked.

- when the wife is driving a lot of stares from guys....most gals haven't a clue
- "you must be rich" : Me: Naw, just worked towards it.

that's the typical every day: AND I MEAN EVERY DAY.

Always worry about the ones snapping pictures with their iphones holding it steady with both hands on top of the steering wheel while driving or rubber neckin.

The other day the local popo drove in behind me - pulled it into the garage and there he was waving a black wallet.

I had left it at the local sandwich shop. He said all I ask is to go for a ride sometime.

I was late but invited him to have a seat. He handed me his phone and I snapped some pictures.

The best part was he said he saw me speeding on a small stretch of hwy the day before in the rain and I had to be going 1** - he said next time when it's dry - I want to be in the car

Never had anyone I wasn't friends with ask me for a ride, but I have the scary driving while taking picture happen all the time. The Lambo seems to attract motorcycles all the time. They love hearing the wicked downshift blips.

Sound clips?

The camera holders always get closer and closer - being boxed in is the worst.

I think Lambo's get even more attention.

Often kids turn around an peer back at the 308. I ususally give the lights a quick up and down. They don't make flip up lights anymore so most haven't ever seen them - they go nuts when they see it!

My 328 garners attention everywhere I go ! Random people
Talk to me all the time .. The most common questions

What year is it ?
How fast have you been in it ?
How much did you pay for it ?

Some people ask to take pictures , other just wanna talk about it
People definitely treat you different when they see you driving a Ferrari
I didn have any idea the 328 would get SO much attention
It's fun .. I always take time to talk with people if I'm not In a rush.
Only one time did I take a stranger for a ride .. He was a 20 year old guy who was
Italian , told me his dream was to sit in a Ferrari , so I took him for a short spin
He was so estatic and told me he had no idea that day when he woke up
A dream would actually come true . Nothing like owning a Ferrari

I took my Maranello to see my niece soon after getting it. My two great nephews, ( yes I am that old!) came out to see what was making all the noise in the drive. As they stood staring at the car, Alfie, who is three, turned to his six year old brother and said "Now THAT is a REAL sports car, Ollie!"

What I have experienced many times, besides the things already mentioned by you all, is the fact that many people roll down their car windows no matter the outside temp....

I always try to reward them with a full throttle take off (always within the speed limits, of course...)

While driving my car in London, I notice that a Vespa rider with full face helmet was following me. I tried to shake him off by making unnecessary turns off the main road and changing directions but the guy kept going on behind me within about 5-10m distance.
Finally after about 5km driving around central London, he stopped right next to me on a traffic light and knocked on my window. Not sure about what he wanted from me, I just smiled. After seeing another cars stopped behind me, I opened my window and the guy showed a big smile in his face and thanking me for allowing him to listen to the most beautiful 'road opera' for the last 5km....

Like others, I have had similar experiences. One of the most amusing was a lambo that came screaming up on me, driver was very friendly beeping and flashing a thumbs up. I smiled and thought, he would have never done that if I was driving my mini cooper. Yes, people treat you much differently.

I seem to get taller, younger, and more handsome when I drive the Spider.....

Although the car garners alot of attention, I also find that the treatment I recieve is based far more on the attitude I project than on the car.

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.
