I'm interested in opinions. I'm selling the 308 once its finished which will probably be around July all being well. My car was originally silver and I changed it to red simply because I always wanted a red Ferrari, and I wasn't planning on ever selling it. Unfortunately there's just no way I'm going to be able to hang onto it and aquire my one so I need to make as much as I can from the sale of the car to finance the next one, so the question really is would the car be worth more 1, if it was silver, but probably take longer to sell. 2, worth a little less but sell quicker if it was red. I'm not sure which way to go because the history on the car is good with £50k's worth of bills to back up its history making my heart say to go back to silver for originality but head says keep it red as it will sell quicker. You took the expense to paint it resale red, so I can see it selling faster, especially for that model. Someone, well beyond your lifetime, will take it back most likely to its silver...but that is an option that doesn't need to happen. IF this were any, other model, other than a 308/328, I would consider the original better. Guide to the Galaxy: Don't Panic Rik -- LAH ! Should not have changed original color, but red will sell. They call it resale red |

To add, why bother painting it at all? That is just more cash out of your pocket. Let the new owner paint it.

Stu I'd stick with the red. For making a quick sale in a colour most buyers will want I think it makes most sense. Barry Ferrari's: 360 Modena F1, 308 GT4 Other Italians: Ducati 916, Ducati 848 DD's: RR Sport, BMW 645ci, BMW 1200GS Adv. |

Here is how I vote and I agree, would not repaint her. Let the new owner have the fun.
