Noticed today when going to Ferrari's homepage, the 599 Replacement Save the Date has a little more spotlighted areas revealed compared to yesterday's pic. Have a look at the above pic, then look at the one below....wonder if each day the spotlight will get greater unveiling the car more up until next Wednesday? Or they have just changed the pic and this is all they going to give us until next week. Ferrari's marketing department can be a real tease! |

Good stance from what I can see. Rear looks "muscular" |

Looks like a perfect cross between the California and the FF, neither of which I like the looks of unfortunately. Onno Future: 458 Italia (May 2012) Present: 550 Maranello, 330GTC, 365BB (x2) Past: eh - see above. |

| Is it just me or does this look like a midengined car? The front compartment seems too small, the doors too far forward. The slanting line from the rear lights to the rear tyres is exactly the same as a 458.... Onno Future: 458 Italia (May 2012) Present: 550 Maranello, 330GTC, 365BB (x2) Past: eh - see above. |

I agree, at 0:20 it almost looks like a cross between a TR and a 458 to me.

Looks very good, I especially like the arches over the rear wheels. Very new. Onno Future: 458 Italia (May 2012) Present: 550 Maranello, 330GTC, 365BB (x2) Past: eh - see above. |

One thing I noticed now, though, is that these two cars look different at the back. I wonder which one is the real thing. I hope the first pic, I think it looks better, cleaner. Onno Future: 458 Italia (May 2012) Present: 550 Maranello, 330GTC, 365BB (x2) Past: eh - see above. |

Definitely an improvement on the 599. Although I like the 599's 'flying buttresses', this new one has many other superior features that add up to make a better whole.

Some other specs: Ferrari V12 details: Active brake cooling system. Vents in front that are closed while driving and open under hard braking to cool the brakes. 50kg lighter. It has the similar rear to the 599 scoops for aero, but now the front on the hood to push away air from the windshield. Future: 458 Italia (May 2012) Present: 550 Maranello, 330GTC, 365BB (x2) Past: eh - see above. |
