This is the quick tease for our new Elysée Wednesday series Drive! The show is an extension of our weekly gatherings and features EW regulars, their friends and their cars. The intention is not to compete with Top Gear (a program that I enjoy very much) but to have the viewer join us in what we consider to be great fun and to provide a close up view of these extraordinary cars.

Stephen- Very nice. I recognized most of the clips except the 16M trying for mach 1.

It's amazing what you can do below 55mph if you put your mind to it.

Stephen - small synchronisation criticism: when the driver of the 16M said "one forty five", the video was actually at 1:39.

This is the promo for the Elysée Wednesday: Drive! series which is longer and more complete than the teaser. Many fine people offered up their time, their cars and their enthusiasm for which I would like to thank them all. The series is an extension of our Elysée Wednesday gatherings and almost all of the people one sees in the promo are EW regulars.

The blond talking about smoking the tire when she stopped.... is that Tex Otto's wife?

Great line.... on the 330GTC, "it had an expression of design that is lacking in today's modern ferraris or other exotics..."

She is EW regular Kira Gurnee--a car and motorcycle enthusiast who is producing her own show Corkscrew Adventures which combines wine tasting and moto/auto adventures.

Once again, Michael Chanslor has come through with a composition and performance that I think sets the perfect mood and pace for the images and action--in this case, his music for our new series Drive!. Over the years, Michael has created themes for my projects including Clip Joint, The Jerry Fairfax Show and Point of Departure--each score different from the others and all completely right for the project.

Listening to his music is pure pleasure for me.

This is the intro to Episode 1 of Elysée Wednesday: Drive!. Each episode will have its own 'highlight reel' to open the show. Sorry if this is too repetitive. Each variation has its own purpose.
