| I was under the (possibly erroneous) impression that every new owner who ordered a Ferrari was automatically graced with the VIP book whose pictures detail the building process of their car. Is this untrue?

Obviously I would love one with my upcoming 458, but it certainly is not an option on the list and my dealer never mentioned it. Onno Future: 458 Italia (May 2012) Present: 550 Maranello, 330GTC, 365BB (x2) Past: eh - see above. | |

I've seen several VIP books - and not just for limited edition Ferraris. I don't take them too seriously though. Years ago, a friend of mine (can-am racer the late Brad Abbott, may he rest in peace) ordered a 430 with red calipers. Ferrari forgot to paint the calipers, but the pictures in the accompanying VIP book showed a 430 on the production line with red calipers. We were both amused. Brad was the first person to ever give me a ride in a Ferrari (a blue 550); and when he took delivery of his E55 AMG, he called me up and we tore ass up the side streets near the firm where he worked. When he was racing, the mechanics nicknamed him Bad Habit, because he had a bad habit of destroying gearboxes. He was a cool guy. I need an Aventador! |

Could anyone tell me how the Front lift works, I ordered it and was wondering how it works. Is there a button that you push that lifts the front end up? I haven't received my car yet, still status 90 but was wondering how the lift worked. Thank You |

| If it is similar to the lift system used in other Ferraris, there will be a switch on the dashboard that you use to raise the car. It will then drop back down automatically once you hit 20 mph. Just make sure you drop the suspension when you park the car.

| That is also my information from my dealer this morning. He said "they replaced it with something else". What that is, I have no idea. Onno Future: 458 Italia (May 2012) Present: 550 Maranello, 330GTC, 365BB (x2) Past: eh - see above. |
