Default Merry Christmas from Afghanistan!

Just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Actually had a pretty nice Christmas dinner here and did a little people watching around the base. So it has been a pretty good day. I even got to see a porta-potty get blown up by a rocket, and fortunately nobody was using it at the time!

Warm wishes to all, hope your day of opening present is full of fun and excitement!!!!!

Greg, best wishes to you and all the members of your contingent over there. "Respect" does not convey adequately what my wife and I feel for the dedication of all defense forces in stationed global "hot zones". Your rocket comment did however trigger her into a fit of puns and spoonerisms (watching Full Metal Jacket last night could have had something to do with it also:-()

A late Merry Christmas to you too.

An M9 isn't a bad thing to find in your stocking.

Keep your head down, a lot of people back here want to see you home for the next one.

The good news: I'm the pilot
