Default F152 Test Mule

Winter is coming in Europe, enough reason for Ferrari to wrap their latest F152 test vehicle in a warm winter jacket. This F152, is the 599 successor which is due to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2012. The disguise leaves a lot to the imagination of what the future Ferrari GT flagship might look like. However Autoblog.nl reports that the sound can clearly be heard - no wonder, with a 6.3 liter V12 under the hood.

Mike- Great photos, thanks. Looks like it has rear quarter windows rather than the peek-aboo quarter windows with flying buttresses like the 599. The grille spacing still looks similar to the FF to me.

Every day I look around, and if nobody is shooting at me, it is a pretty good day.

Taz: Exactly what I think I was seing too. Perhaps this was just a suspension setup and not a real test run.

On sloppy mule blanket setup.

Nathan- Not to worry, we can only see the grille spacing, not the shape. Besides, what is wrong with smiling grilles?

Smile for the camera. Good girl.

Awesome photos. I've never seen a car cover used to hide the body like this. Just 4 months to go before we see the actual car.

Car cover is a new one,

Latest I have heard is that front end will borrow heavily from the FF. Launch to key potential customers is in Janaury at Maranello.

These renderings look like they could be fairly accurate based on info I heard from someone who has contacts at the factory.

Iain- That looks fine, and the grille looks nice, but is more derivative than I would have thought. In scale, the exhaust pipes they show would be at least 4" each. Sewerpipes even bigger than Novitec's 90 mm (~3.5") tailpipes.

I think AutoExpress magazine have cobbled bits of it together using other images Terry. The tail pipes are certainly taken from a California.
