Fun convertible for (potentially) a good price or run for your life?

I'm not sure why this intrigued me... I'm not really looking to buy another car.

Not a big fan of yellow. However, if PPI check outs it could be a great buy. I like the older spyders. Clutch wear is an issue I've heard with the cabiocorsa transmission. Not sure if these are developing the same issues with the cats the 360s are.

Make mine a grand sport with the heritage package. A shift your own gearbox would be nice too though I don't think they made any grand sports that way.

Bob- That is a huge amount of car for a small amount of money, and yellow is my favorite Ferrari, and by extension, Maserati, color. As long as you have some money budgeted for maintenance and the unforeseen, looks like a great deal. That is 2002 Boxster money for a Ferrari designed V8, Italian exotic.
