sitting in my car this evening,,,as i often do,,,my eyes glanced over to the odometer,,,and i realized,,that on my last drive,,,i had reached 89,000 miles,,!!,,,actual mileage..89,040...with my car running as good as it has ever ,,,,im hoping that the motor will withstand another 89k miles,,!!!...everything mechanical as well as electrical seems to be in excellent working order,,,,i have only driven 2800 miles since my full service in april of 2010....at 3250 i will change the oil and filter,,,and will use moble 1,,,just as the shop used back when the car was serviced,,,im also hoping that the cooler operating temperatures due to the test pipe will also had to motor longevity..at some point i want to put new carpet in as well as lining the back deck and targa top in saddle leather,,,,and painting the targa top white to match the body,,,,im in no rush,,like i said before,,ill will always own my 328 GTS...and it will probably be a while before im in a position to purchase another F car to park next to it,,,,

They like to be driven. Yours just proves it. Go for 100K. I am jealous because mine only has 19K.

Great car you have Well maintained and driven with mechanical respect, there is no reason why a Ferrari engine shouldn't do 200.000 miles. My 430 just celebrated his 31.000 miles, she's still a baby but growing up and getting mature. It's just impressive how long it takes to properly brake in these engines. Now, at 31.000 miles, I can start feeling she's getting really strong now. The next 31.000 miles will be pure plaisure ![]() Take good care of her, yours is beauty Lucca! |
