Terry W Phillips

Yesterday I received a 275/330 clutch slave cylinder from Ferrari Parts in Sacramento. Trouble is my F1 575M does not have a clutch slave cylinder. Turns out the part was for Terry W Phillips of NC, not Terry H Phillips of NM. So if any of you thought it was pretentious of me to have my middle initial in my FL tag, now you know why.

Wonder if he was named after the WW-II comic stip hero of Terry and the Pirates like I was?

As for Terry and the Pirates, did he have a middle name? thinking Sierra Hotel

I too was named after two comic characters: Richard and Arn -- Prince Val...still going.

Rik- Kathy and I already talked and I mailed it to NC, which should save my namesake some time. He is an authority on older Ferraris, from what I hear.

Last auction result I saw on a 275 GTS was nearly $700K. Might be able to afford one three-eared knock-off, but that would be about it. Those NART 275 GTS/4s are way up in the $Ms now.

Spent an hour in the 575M today, and she ran like a top. She is the only red-headed girlfriend I am likely to have for a long time.

Call it luck or destiny, I knew from the very first moment that we met that she was the one. Almost, but not quite, in the same league as when I first saw the Ferrari casting on the valve cover of the Mondial.

Taz I guess you found out that Terry W Phillips lives in Lake Lure NC......not too far from where I just finished our new mtn home. I want to go visit him sometime as like me he is a caretaker of a 330 GTC. Maybe someday we can get together for a spirited vintage romp in the Blue Ridge mountains.

And remember Terry H Phillips.....if you ever come over the the right coast here in Florida you have my open invitation of your choice of my Frides to use. Much better than a rental car.

Unfortunately waited too long to buy a SOHC Ferrari. Should have bought the 250 LM for $9800 instead of the Dino 246 for $10,600. Who knew?
