Hello ![]() I'm having my windows tinted soon and would rather ask FL for advice on the % of tint to use for decreasing the intense sun whilst maintaining visibility and bring out the original F355 GTS design. Sure, my window sticker states the windows are tinted but the heat from the sun from the windshield and side windows is too intense. As always, any and all advice, experience is greatly appreciated. d Current: F355 GTS, from Sport Auto, 06 Maserati Coupe Cambio Corsa. I'd say zero and just keep it covered when parked in sunlight.

Parking is no problem at all. It's driving. It actually feels like my arm is burning from the sun... :/

I tinted my front windshield and just felt it was too dark. There is some new materials like ceramic tint that works really well so no need to go dark to stop the heat penetrating. Depending on your interior as for as % - I would have them put on some samples and see what looks the best and you can live with. Make sure they use a hear temp gun with a digital read out - Ferrari glass isn't cheap. 612 Nuvolari 16M Grigio Ferro | |

The lower the number the darker correct? If I recall something in the range of 30 - 40 is decent and in daytime people will still see in. For the rear window you could go 20 - 15

I'm a daily driver. The A/C is struggling since I had it modified for the fog issue. It's just the fact of comfortable daily driving and ensuring the A/C works flawlessly. Also, When driving, The heat down here is extremely intense so i am tinting the windows. It's just a matter of what will keep the design cues nicely done and tint subtly. When i have passengers riding with me, they are uncomfortable with the sun's intensity as well. I feel like 30% is too much. I do want to tint the front lightly, maybe a gradient so the top portion of the windshield is protected and the bottom is easily seen through. I'm also hoping to tint the sides. The back doesn't really need it. The rounded glass is a design cue I don't want to mess with. The tint these days are an additions that can be removed in the future. 30% is really dark, from what I gather. I've had it shipped to have this and some other items done so I won't pik out the actual tint. I've looked at some tints and am looking at more this week (just returned from the west coast, an hour or so ago) and am making a dicision. I was hoping to gain knowledge from your expertise. A tint that is non-intrusive to the design and subtle though removes the extreme sun from harming the leather, and the driver/passenger. Remember, this is a daily driver in South Florida. Any more recommendations ? Thanks WetPet ^. I think the gradient in the windshield is the better option. Thanks in advance. Do you not tint yours ? goodness...
