Hi! Have been making some Ferrari artwork on and off over the last couple of months and thought I'd share it with you (as long as no-one has any objections!) About to start on some more models very soon in all sorts of techniques. Anyways, hope you like them and feel free to post up your thoughts! Thanks for looking, Matt. First up a digitally painted 250TR ![]() ...and the same car again, different style ![]() ...and indeed, the same car again! (un-finished) |

Next up is the F40 (I think) if anyone would like to see it done in a particular style, just let me know. Name an artist or genre and I'll do it.. now there's a challenge ![]() I'll even upload it in massive format so you can download it/print it - it'll just be going in my portfolio so no worries. Anyone who has one and would like their plate on it - just let me know. |

Spent a few hours doing this preliminary F40 sketch today... a touch rough, but the shape is just about there. Sorry about the jumbo signature, that's not me being pretentious, its me being too lazy to resize it after it was dragged across from another image I was working on! |

Matt- Very nice work. Digital is making great strides, but I like your drawings, too. The only problem with digital is how do you guarantee you have an original since as many as you want can be produced?

Thanks Terry ![]() Its a good question, and not the first time it's come up - I've done one off digital images before and really the only way to do it is to copyright the image to the person you've created it for. I used to watermark images (digitally embed my name and copyright info) but with software these days you can take a high resolution screen capture and therefore bypass it. So basically I send an official email categorically stating that you own the copyright and permamently delete the image this end (including build-up, samples and reference work in extreme cases). |

| You know what? after I posted that up I wondered if someone would request a salvador Dali or a caravaggio!I need some hard core reference images for that one, but yeah ok, why the hell not? Do you have a particular salvador image in mind? - that will take a while though. ..and thank you for your kind comment - much appreciated |

Ok, will do - certainly be an interesting outcome, thats for sure. Before I go to bed (Its 2am here) here's a study of a F40 wheel - not that interesting I agree, but I love the combination of chrome & light (and reflections in general)... exhausts etc are fairly straightforward but multiple reflective surfaces are kinda interesting to sketch out. á demain ![]() ![]() Tyre could be a bit rounder though eh?! |

Maybe you could fashion a full size F-50 out of wood, and then make it float. That would be cool. |
