Default Original Ferrari V8 (book)

"Original Ferrari V8" by Keith Bluemel...

It has quickly become the "must have" book and collectors are buying it in record numbers.

I don't know what the outcome of "Original Ferrari V12" will be. Anyone care to guess?

Ebay, Amazon, and the like...from $400 to $1,000.00 for one copy.

Well I got a copy this week at a classic car show for £85 and it's signed by the author.
So they are out there.

I love the V8 book. The V12 would seem to be even better.
Saw one @ Infineon and will check again today before Superbowl on price.

just picked up the v12 book in paperback because of this thread, can't wait to get it. And it inspired me to dust off the v8 book and go back through it. been a couple years.

Didn't know of a part two. What was the cutoff point, I haven't seen the part 1.

Perhaps this is a calling card to Ferrari Life to finish it's own version of a Part II. I DID see a FerrariLife compendium of buyer's guides in softback at Infineon....from 2005.

The current book covers the 275GTB to the Daytona, only 8 years of the now total of 65.... It is nonetheless a fantastic book.

Not sure what part 2 would have covered, the earlier cars or the later cars.

Yes he is. He still writes articles for the Ferrari Owners Club UK magazine on occasion.

I just got the V12 book. Very nice. Finally a complete set of something. Keith frequently attends most of the more prestigious, highly visible gatherings. Has anyone asked if he's gonna get around to another book. And if not, why?

Terry, your knowledge of modern V12s would be a great opportunity to collaborate with Keith to produce such a reference.

A lot of what would have been the content ended up in the 'Flat-12' newsletter published by Cavallino.

Must get my hands on that. Can you tell me which Cavallino's it was published in, Jonathan? Many thanks!

Fantastic book. A very useful resource both for potential buyers and owners. I actually think I have two copies, though I did lend one out, have to check if I got it back!

I find the V8 book a little thin on what I had expected. It is basically an extended overview on the history of the series and some of the evolutions. What is is not useful on is going into details for correct concours presentations.

Brian Crall has been working on a much more detailed book that should include more of that.

Any idea when Brian's book will be coming out?
