I can't spell it but on a local forum, I was told of the deaths of a couple of Ferrari guys at Nunringberg (sp). Can that be correct? If so, than many tears.

Yes it is true. I would like to send my deepest condolence to the families that lost loved ones. Also to Dirk of this forum who was friends with one of the persons in the crash. Our hearts and prayers are with all of you.

i'm still completelly shocked, when i read stuff about i start to cry again
i can't believe that jens is gone, he was an incredible guy that really didn't desirve something like this.
Normally i had driven over to the Nurnburgring today and meet up with jens and the others for some driving on the ring.

Dirk, all the best with your loss. Very sad news indeed. Driving the Ring is dangerous but when you are a passenger you cannot do anything to stop it. Unbelievable sad.

Also my condolences from here. We always read motorsport is dangerous, but we never really realise it until something like this comes up. Damn, I hope you get over it soon, and ofcourse the rest of his family and friends, and those of the others

My condolences - too - to those who lost a friend or relative in this tragic event. It's a sad reminder to us all that no matter how good a driver you are, or how good a car you drive, motoring and risk go hand in hand, and sometimes the risk eventuates to tragedy.
