Default Good website for watching movies

A friend told me about this website: www.hulu.com

Great site to watch movies and TV episodes on for free. I think anyone can watch the TV episodes but the movies are only available in USA.

Tough. If you don't like it, have The Netherlands create their own Hollywood.

Oh, and don't forget Basosz, America is always spelled with a capital "A".

Correction - Maine is one of the 50 states in the United States of "America". So within the USA we would be known as "Mainers" and outside the USA we would be known as Americans. Among other things.

And don't you ever correct me again when it comes to my Country you Netherlander you!! Netherlander, that sounds strangly close to Neaderthal. Is that the Dutch heritage?

Zero of all... (I had already written first and second and I am lazy today), among other things? If you are an american, then so is a Canadian, a Mexican, a Panamanian etcetera... in French, someone from the US would indeed translate as a United Statesian if I'm not mistaken (which is doubtfull... I'm usually right )

First of all... it's Neanderthal... with an extra n

Second: Neanderthal could very well be my heritage. As it would be yours Remember who founded most of the North-East corner of the USA ? Hartford (or very much near it) for instance was a Dutch colony  It's still known as Dutch Point. So you may very well have some Dutch blood running through your veins which would also make you a Neanderthal heritage... person

Actually, I'm about 1/8th Dutch. My great-grandmother was from Holland. The rest of me is French and English with a little bit of Native American thrown in. The last is probably the result of one of my French ancestors raping an Indian squaw. Needless to say, I am a true "American".

Sorry about leaving out the extra "N" in Netherlander, oops, I mean Neanderthal. Gee, they both have 2 n's.

In the end, it all comes down to this:
The USA is a country with 250 million people armed with guns. We say that we are Americans. Do not argue with us.

Told ya you are Dutch You big Neanderthal Pete !!!

Yes. A Netherlander might to some under developed fool sound like Neanderthal. That same under developed fool would also call the Dutch Netherlanders By the way, The Netherlands are only called that because of the geological characteristics.

The USA might have 250 million guns and a very big army, but that same army makes me want to go and say, “Tell you what, lovely army, very nice vehicles and things, d’you have any grown-ups anywhere?”. Same with the guns ofcourse

No, I'm afraid we don't. We are a nation of kids with enough money to buy all the toys we want. We used to play "Cowboys and Indians" but now that game is over. Then we used to play "Allies and Axis" but now that game is over. Then we played "Democracy and Communism" but now that game is over too. Now we play "Homeland Security vs. Terrorism". I predict that, as usual, the good guys will win.

Chris, you have to understand that Basosz and I are friends but we have a little rivalry that goes back a few years.

Oh, I had no doubt that there was definitely some history. I just thought it was really funny to read. That is the way people should argue

Pete calls it rivalry, I call it "I hate Pete because he once captained the Enterprise before I did and now he even has the Phoenix".

But that's just semantics

By the way Pete, I like how you labeled the Cowboys from times long gone as Good Guys They only barely killed all the indians in the You Es of A.

Homeland Security has the Patriot Act... in my opinion that could make Terrorism the Good Guys. I'm afraid that the real world is a tad less black and white

One more thing... enough money to buy all the toys you want? I heard that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan costs the US about 25 BILLION dollar a month.

I'd still like a grown-up please

On one of my ships I had 2 Chief Engineers, one was Norwegian and the other was Danish. I used to give the Norwegian guy a hard time because when Norway became independent from Sweden it was a Dane who ascended the Norwegian throne (Prince Carl of Denmark became King Haakon VII). Evidently they couldn't find a Viking with a royal bloodline in Norway. I used to ask Kenneth if Karston was the "Senior" Chief Engineer because he was Danish and if he was supposed to salute him. Boy would he get mad at me. He'd go on about being a Viking and all and I'd be like, "Kenneth, the only Vikings in Norway come from Denmark."

I remember when I was able to tell this self-proclaimed Star Trek freak that I had taken command of a ship called Enterprise. A joyous day indeed. I even sent one of my ship's brochures to his parent's house in The Netherlands. Basosz likes to talk big but secretly he wishes he were me.

A fine traditon started by the Dutch. They were the ones who cheated the Indians and purchased Manhatten and Long Island for $24 worth of beads. The Indians had no concept of land ownership. They were quite willing to sell something that couldn't be owned. They thought they had cheated the Dutch. They have lived in regret ever since. All Native Americans blame the Dutch for the downfall of their culture.

Benjamin Franklin said that anyone who trades liberty for security deserves neither and will lose both. You are right and that the world is not black and white. It is history that will tell whether we did right or wrong. We do what we feel is right and fight for it. The Dutch thought that they should remain neutral during WW2, the Germans were very glad for that and took over the country without much resistance.

I can't be bothered to check your figures so I won't argue the point. However, what would be the cost if we were to pull out? Would the world be happy or would they be like, "Look at the mess the United Statesians left here! They need to come back and clean this up!"
