Default Forum User Option - Invisible Mode

Here's a little glitch I found. I was looking at the "who's online" and saw like 5 people and the usual 40 guests, mostly spiders. I noticed there was an asterisk next to Boxer's name. Down at the bottom I saw that the asterisk meant that Boxer is "invisible to others". Huh, well I can see right here he's online. Maybe it just doesn't show he's online in the threads.

So I go to one of the threads in the forum and I notice that the little indicator light in the bottom left hand corner of each post, the one that is gray when you are offline and green when you are online, well on Boxer's post it was red. I put my mouse pointer over it and a little box popped up saying "Boxer is invisible". Huh, about as invisible as anyone driving an F50 can be I suppose.

So I've gone in and changed my profile options so that I'm invisible too. So when you look at my posts and notice the red light is on, that means I'm online but you can't see me.

There are loads of them aren't there - it's like invasion of the slurpie spiders!

Andrew...is this "cloaking device" remote operable....If so, there may be some bank robberies near my vicinity. Seeing as knowone can see me and all. Will I need a WiFi connection?

I felt it necessary to join the band wagon on this invisible thing. I figure I wouldn't want a green Ferrari, I would like a red one....but then again I don't like red lights because I hate stopping..... On the other hand the two colors mentioned above do accent the splendid and joyous season of Christmas....but then again there is the contradiction again because Ferraris are not out in the winter I guess I'll go with red. That is my final decision!

I just saw this. Funny you noticed because I ran across the option when going through the User CP panel and thought I would try it. Figured it was something installed for all the Trekkies as a "Cloaking" device. Seems to work as well as the ones always did in the movies.......

F50 is back to visible...not that it was ever silent.
