Congrats Doug.
Only picking up this thread for the first time.
Your new SS looks magnificent. Sorry to see the 612 go, but onwards and upwards and all that. Enjoy the new toy.

I did 140 on 44 somewhere in Oklahoma once. allegedly.
There was a perfect stretch in what may have been OK - one side water other side barrier.

Let her stroll up just north of I-60.

Thanks JImmy

It's special in it's own way - top down luxury and sport in a car capable of 200 mph is very rare.

Just now realized that I buy cars that are a lil bit of everything in one package.

Thanks.

The 612 would be nice to save - we shall see.

Funny thing is I still need a dd.

Had enough cavity searches the last few months to last a lifetime.

I loved the drive back - wasn't one moment of regret besides the panic moment of not being able to find the switch to open the gas tank.

Luckily it was early enough to call Bentley of BH - had to go west coast due to time of the day - only to have the salesman laugh and tell me where it was located.

Standing in OK where it's sorta rough in a Bentley wasn't comfy.

That's not going to happen

It's fast and it handles - the ceramics that are enormous along with the all wheel drive system takes me out of corners extremely well.

Good luck passing me on the straights

Did they also show you were the "make angels sing" and "I drive a Bentley, I have the right of way" buttons are?

Out of all seriousness, ride comfort wise, is it better than everything else you've driven? I've sat in an Arnage before and driven a couple of older RR's, but never driven or sat in one of the CGT's

It has the same seats as the Veyron - comfort is there but it's not the typical Bentley seat. It comes with the extra massage feature and electric controls vs the std SS carbon fiber seat.

Once again I bought a car that is trying extremely hard to be something different from it's gene pool.
