Default Classified ads; editing

I have tried contacting the site managers twice now asking for information on how to edit or delete ads, and have received no response. If anyone knows how to do this any help would be VERY grateful.

Art,

Andrew might not be available until the first week of january, see posts #156:

Secret Santa Participants

You might want to try sending him a PM or probably better to send an email.

Where is the classifieds section? Is there parts there, or just cars?

Brian,

If you think you can't you wont, if you think you can, you will

Brian,
It is:

Ferrari For Sale, Ferrari Classifieds & Ferrari Dealers - Ferrari Life

but as noted below, is about to under go a major revamp.

I have most of a 1977 308 engine in parts, early cams, carbs, heads, block gearbox, exhaust, etc..

I've been selling on eBay for over 5 years, but this time around between eBay soaking me almost 20% and then paypal taking their cut and trying to hold all my money for no valid reason I gave up.

I listed some parts here (a set of carbs), well over a year ago, and could never figure out how to edit the ad or delete it, either one. Maybe this thread will bring some attention to the issue and I'll list everything here.

Brian,
Look at the top header you'll see a link to "buying and selling". It opens a drop down menu with various choices including parts. It doesnt work so great but maybe we can get it fixed.

In the meantime I have begun listing items on Ebid, we'll see how that works out. The sooner eBay feels the heat of competition the better.

Well, scratch eBid. After four days of them screwing around with verification BS, I gave up. Closed my Paypal account today, and ebay is next.

Without a good (and reasonable) international online auction house, and no good sites or forums to list anything, I guess it all goes back into storage. Fchat now requires you buy a subscription to sell. Boy, thats a great way to really help out the enthusiasts you claim to support.

I expect Andrew's major upgrade for the Buying/Selling section here will solve that problem.

When is this upgrade expected to take place?

In the meantime, I have decided to try Online Auction.com. ( OnlineAuction .com - Where Buyers and Sellers Meet. ) $8 a month flat, buy and sell all you want with no listing fees, no after sale fees, no requirements to use any particular money handling service like Paypal, very simple and easy to navigate and very easy to sign up (no need to offer your first born child).

I have noticed the last two weeks since I found them that the volume of items listed is expanding rapidly (as are many other alternative sites such as eBid, etc..), so while its a foregone conclusion that action is going to be much slower than eBay, I am confident it will pick up as more and more people find these other avenues.
