Default Zonda R

my current favorite car. Was lucky enough to tour the Pagani factory a few years ago and became smitten. Very rare in the US. I have never seen one here.

Outside of wow, my only comment is: Do they really need an official commercial?

Now that I think of it, are they even producing the Zonda R anymore? Thought the Huayra was the model in production now

Outstanding.

You should post it in the new Supercar Forums Pagani area.

done. they assemble those cars quite like they show in the video. each car is assembled in place on a bench like that. when we toured the factory we got to walk right up to the assembly area. i think they were building two cars in the whole place when we were there. The quality and engineering of every component on that car is amazing. i remember seeing a rear suspension being put together and every part was exquisite. Really made an impression after touring ferrari and lambo, where the cars were being "mass" produced.

Awesome car, but it doesn't look like you could actually drive it anywhere but the track.

If you're rich enough to afford a car like that just to drive on a track,
you're probably too busy to drive it much.

What is Pagani's MO? Will they ever mass produce cars or just stick to 200 units over the life of an entire product line? Always wondered how they sustain such low numbers.

At a $ mil plus per unit, they don't have to sell many.

The commercial for the Huayra was pretty spectacular.... In fact I really really like that car... maybe more than the Zonda.

I was also able to tour the factory last year and was amazed at the production of these cars. I would own one of these in a heartbeat if I could afford it. The car pictured had just been sold for 1.7 million euros.
