Default Anyone interested in a Holiday gift swap

I was thinking it would be pretty cool to have some memorabilia from one of if not all the places that people post from.

25.00 - 35.00 Gift that represents your area.

I will put the amount of participants in a pot and pull them at random then assign them to a list placed in alphabetical order.

Of course this will be done on video by a hottie!

Secret Santa would be too much work for me - but not opposed to someone else doing it

1st - all the participants names are written down in alphabetical order.

Hottie takes those same participants names and writes their names individually and places the participants name on said paper in a dish individually.

Then said Hottie removes a piece of paper that has a participants name - then associates that name to the first person on the alphabetical list.

Example

Hottie pulls Champagne out of the dish first - and since you would be the first on the alphabetical list you and I would exchange gifts.

Got the bit about the hottie.

How does it work trying to ship stuff around the planet? Duties coming into the EU from the US can be quite unpleasant.

Even for a $25 t-shirt from fisherman's wharf? Now I understand why the American right is so afraid to follow down the EU path of taxes.

Count me in!

On the duties part..we could either limit the amount spent per gift to avoid duties, or they could be pre-used? When I buy something on Ebay that has been used I have never been charged any duties. What about you guy's?
Another option is to mark the item, on the shipping docs, as ' sample with no commercial value' .

i doubt a sub $25US gift is a big deal on import and duties anywhere, especially if marked "gift sub $25"

Awesome ... better than expected

I will check into the duty issue first thing Monday.

How about we close the invitation list Nov 30

I will post the match-up video and let the two exchange addresses in pm's.

Keep it clean
