Ed- Lucky for that badger gassing program or they would have never found him.

Why would anybody be gassing badgers? Cute little fellows, as long as one is not trying to chew off your leg.

This May I was challenged by a honey badger which went totally apesh1t over my snoring. The second night it got worse and it jumped in anger at my tent in full fury, holloring and snorting at me. That's when I noticed and heard it was a honey badger. The first night I was woken by it I wondered if it was a leopard patrolling his territory and responding to my leopard snore. A honey badger is constantly like Joe Pesci on a very bad day. Maybe the poor dwarf double was snoring in the woods provoking an attack?

A dead or unconcious small-person's-body is still very big to be dragged away by a badger. My guess is he was murdered and stuffed into a badger's den knowing the corpse would be eaten. An African honey badger could probably kill a dwarf. The difference between the European badger and the African honey badger is the exaggerated aggression and fearlessness of the honey badger. One honey badger is known to have fended off a lion by hanging on to the lion's scrotum. The lion eventually died from the horrible injury.

Honey Badger, Lion's scrotum. Yup, it is definitely the weekend.

My favorite video of the Honey Badger shows one getting bitten several times by a Cobra before eating the snake. HB then lay down for a short spell, got up, shook himself like a drunk ridding himself of one too many, and then went off looking for something else to eat.

Would like to see a contest between a Honey Badger and a Wolverine to see which is actually the meanest weasel on the planet. We know which one smells the worst, the Skunk Bear, but not which one is the meanest.

The wolverine will likely tear the honey badger to pieces from the sheer stubborness of keeping coming back at the wolverine. The wolverine is three times as big.

Capo- You are probably correct. Have seen film of Wolverines running off Grizzly/Brown Bears from kills. Running off 800 lb carnivores takes quite a bit of nastiness. The bad smell probably helps.
