Default Champagne Bar - Do Stop In

Mondays normally suck til at least lunch and sometimes it takes the entire day to get over the weekend issues.

Not this Monday - happy to be here posting for so many reasons!

Some very obvious and others even more so

Good Monday too you to Doug. Though it's nearly Tuesday here. So a little closer to the weekend then where you are. Which isn't to far away as I think I'll start mine on Wednesday.

That works ...

FWIW .. Ur man

U2 just added another bullet point to their "Biggest Band in the World" résumé: Their 360 Tour is now officially the highest grossing concert tour of all time, surpassing the Rolling Stones' Bigger Bang Tour with receipts exceeding $558 million. And with over 20 dates to go, the tour is expected to top the $700 million mark, having played to seven million fans in 30 countries.

And all those $$$s will all be heading over Onno's way to the Netherlands soon where then can rest nice and tax free. Not like we need the cash input here in Ireland... but lets not go there again (after all I do have Bono's motorbike in my living room....)

Mrs. JRR kidnapped me for a trip to Chicago a few years ago for the North American launch of the 360 tour at Soldier Field. Probably the best weekend I can remember in a LONG time. Absolutely amazing.

U2 has been a staple of mine since the Boy album hit US shores.

Did you see them in StL a few weeks ago?

Maybe I can't remember

It's the simple things in F-life that count - like Taz showing brake porn and the hobby thread has taken on it's own life.

What an embarrassment, you need to torch that piece of shit right now. How could you have any association with the lowest forms of life on this planet, especially since they left their Irish brethen in the dust and took all their money!

Wetpet, do not get me started again on these scumbags. Burn all their cd's and anything associated with that two faced homo asshole. If I had a genie, 1 of my wishes would be, well I am sure you can figure it out.

Red, if it makes you feel better, the full proceeds of the bikes purchase went to Riders for Health charity. Welcome to Riders For Health. Look it up, it's a very worthy charity.

Personally I bought it more for my love of Ducati's, the 916 classic design and the fact that it was a charity auction, though it's history (Michael Hutchence, Adam Clayton, Bono) was a minor attraction too.

You're entitled to your opinion my friend, but i would not classify what I think is one of the greatest motorbike designs of the modern era as a piece of shit.

For the children watching who might believe this story - the Netherlands are one of the highest taxed countries in the world, and that is why neither Bono nor myself live there.

Come to Jersey. It's rock. But without the roll.

Actually, if you fancy driving your Ferrari, don't come to Jersey as there is not a single road where you can enjoy it. Isle of Man is a better option (no speed limits! yay!), and very slightly lower taxes there too. Why did my company have to go to Jersey?
