"The end of the world is nigh; 21 May, to be precise. That's the date when Harold Camping, a preacher from Oakland, California, is confidently predicting the Second Coming of the Lord. At about 6pm, he reckons 2 per cent of the world's population will be immediately "raptured" to Heaven; the rest of us will get sent straight to the Other Place."

This is his alternate plan. Apparently he was late for boarding calls on the Hale-Bopp Comet back in '97. Been flying standby ever since.

funny [?] you should mention this. We have a 78 year old with a van in our Sonoma that I saw again today with his glossies and signs preaching to us poor, ignorant types.

I am almost fearful on what I'll read on the 22nd

Remember as to OP link, it's happening at 6PM..... I'm not sure how they calculated the time or if EST or PST, so please don't be driving give or take three hours either way: You have been warned.

This was him yesterday when I stopped for gas, eating a Danish with Latte...good to see he's taking it so well.

Shows how much you suckers know. Heaven turned out to be a lot like before I was taken. I even have my Ferraris... bad news is gas prices did not change. No virgins either and the internet is not only slower but but more heavily regulated: damn ( ya, we can say that one but try and say @#$%&!*?) Must be in the Christian side. I heard the guys in'the other place' have Ferrari in only red/tan with Really hot chicks: #%#@@* *$#@@! %%$*#@@ and $@&%%!!!!! The choices one makes. I could live with red/tan.
