Doug,

At first I thought you were thinking of going vintage Ferrari on us. Clicked the link to Ebay and discovered the humor instead.

I am so not kidding

If there is one pleasure I have ... it's turning shit into shinola

If it sits that is fine too - gotta space right next to the Healey

So the bidding is at $25k for a title, an engine/trans and maybe a couple suspension parts. Wow.....

Not only crazy at $25k but the reserve isn't even met.

How much would a Dino engine cost?

Apparently, more than 25k...
Seriously though, I wonder how much of that value is the title and VIN.

Really nice Dino's are getting $150-200k it seems. They're also difficult to find for sale, let a lone finding a good engine if one needed it. Tom isn't known for being competitively priced but I'm sure there is someone out there that is real deep into a project that could use something like this to keep moving forward.

You guys should check out his other items - interesting stuff

Then engine and rear could be very valuable to a vintage racer.

Doug,

I had not noticed before who the seller is. Tom is incredibly experienced in project Ferraris. Take note - if Tom is passing on a project then there is a real $ reason. Even you don't want this type of challenge. By the way, if there was a tool roll and manual set Tom already liberated them

I think the last guy who performed a PPI took it to a whole new level.

The car has a clear Florida title
How is that possible? The car doesn't even have a front-end. Wonder if the guy has more of the chassis and isn't showing it in the photos.
