Sounds great Iain. Congrats again on the purchase. Not too much work required so. Just enough to allow that bonding process to take place! Funnily enough, my Dino 308GT4 was also a 2 owner from new, I'm now the 3rd owner. I had the same thoughts that it was quite uncommon for a classic. Any particular reason you decided to go for another Dino vs. a different F car classic? Or was it just something that caught you eye? I just love the 246 Barry. It's such a great car to drive and looks so perfect. I also think that as a long term investment they are good news.

(and please excuse what could have looked like a justification request - when I re-read my own post...!)I share your thoughts though. The 246 is a special car. Barry Ferrari's: 360 Modena F1, 308 GT4 Other Italians: Ducati 916, Ducati 848 DD's: RR Sport, BMW 645ci, BMW 1200GS Adv. | |

What beautifull cars! Congratulations on the new Dino....I must add one to my stable some day, it has been my favourite Ferrari for as long as I can remember. However, they are getting more and more expensive so maybe I should hurry :-) Enjoy them in good health! | Funny you should say that...... I still have an itch to scratch in terms of getting a Verde Germoglio one (the foreunner of K 'egg green ).

| Not yet. It's just an idea at present but I know the target car. It needs a full restoration but the purchase price is likely to be a sticking point.

| Always is. Would you buy a LHD one from France? Boxer Current: F40, F50, 612, 430 Scuderia Past: 360 Modena, 360 Challenge, 550, 575, 365BB, 512BB, 456 GT, F355 GTS, 365 GTB/4 Daytona, 308 GTB |

| No, I doubt it. There are sufficient RHD cars around, it's just a case of waiting for the right one to come to market.

Congrats Iain! I love Dinos as well and should become an owner before I go over to the other side. First stop should be driving one though, still haven't done that. Onno Future: 458 Italia (May 2012) Present: 550 Maranello, 330GTC, 365BB (x2) Past: eh - see above. |
