WOW. My first impression of the FF when I saw her was not very high. It was a white car and to me just did not look like a Ferrari. Now that I see her in a darker color I have to agree with the above statements in that it wears it much better and looks a little more like a Ferrari. The interior is amazing. I have always liked the diamond pattern and the red inserts on the seats and red carpet are ideas I had thought about incorporating into my next car and am glad I got to see them here. How is the seating in the back for adults? Is it comfy enough for longer drives or for those in suit and tie and a nice dress for going out in? Any car in my humble opinion is an upgrade from the looks of the Panamera. I am a long time Porsche nut as well and gotta say that was quite the Epic fail. Cheers on the new car and cant wait to hear more about her as she starts to eat up more miles. |

I pick her up next week. As to more info, I am going to Modena tomorrow for a factory visit and on Saturday a Fiorano track day in FF's so I can give more info after that. Congratulations on her! When I first saw the FF, I didn't like it. Than, I had a chance to see one (black) in person and sit in. Since then, the FF is in my top three favourite modern Ferraris. :-)

Paul- Great way to break in a new Ferrari. With as much hp and torque as the FF has, the 5000 rpm restriction for 1000 kms should not be a problem.

| Excellent way to bond with the your new FF. If you get a chance, the Route Napoleon is worth a detour.

Well I picked her up yesterday and did 600+ klm of bonding. First impressions....wow! Fast. handles very well on the motorways, did not push too hard but looking at my computer this morning average speed was 100klm!!!! The only thing to detract so far is what appears to be a small fuel tank...... for such a large and powerful car. Pictures with the family to follow. And next trip Cannes to Manchester UK 1700 klm short run.... Speed has never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary, that's what gets you! Current Fleet Ferrari 458, California and FF. Congrats on the FF delivery... How is it running? Great colour combo If Ferrari were a religion I’d become a regular church-goer and preach the gospel according to St Ferrari of Maranello. Lord be praised. |

FF Two week old report! 6000 klm covered! Yes 6000 klm this car will be used that is for sure. Agility, on road and different road surfaces. Always feels planted but yet ready to turn in and change direction. Even though I ordered with sports exhaust the noise level at motorway speeds up to 200klm per hour is very low from the inside, you realise how loud it is when you wind the window down. Fast… well enough said! It is that and a shade more, not a white knuckle ride but so much power on hand, already made a few Porsche owners including a turbo wondering what happened and how did I just pull away like that. I am glad I ordered the luggage set as it fits perfectly and I don’t see how you could get more into the back. The carbon inside is wonderful and I love the look of it. Front and rear cameras are a must with this long nose and short back glad I have them. The rear entertainment is super for the long runs and a 8 year old. Space in the back is plenty for four up even for long runs. The passenger read out is great, but once my wife picked up on it, she did become helpful when looking for those French speed cameras and speed limits The cooled seats save a sweaty back but are no more than just a vent on the highest setting so don’t really cool. The Cruise control is fiddly, if this was anything other than a Ferrari you would hate it, but since it does everything else like a dream you put up with it. Fuel tank seems small and around 400klm between fills seems like you are always at a pump. Did I mention the speed? It does get noticed and made a few crowds at service stations when on the refuel stops and food stops. She is a super car, my favourite of the Habsy fleet, and will be used daily, expect a 50k klm a year car for sure. My wife has her California back also today, since her keys where stolen it just took two months for the new parts…. Just hope nothing major happens to the FF, family photo of the three in the next couple of days. Did I mention the idiot taxi driver and the three day old FF and its cracked nose? New part ordered and will be fitted in September. Not the best of days. Or I am sure the smallest of bills. BR Habsy Speed has never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary, that's what gets you! Paul- Sounds like a really nice car. The fuel tank is actually fairly small by Ferrari standards at 91 liters compared to a 599 at 105 liters, and my US spec 575M at 110 liters. Combine that with consumption that is not too sterling, and you will not go far between tanks of fuel. The power you describe, about the same as a 599 GTO, makes up for it.

Well 10,000 klm has come up fast! Even after 3 weeks in the shop for a new nose ! Drove her back down through from Lugano to Cannes yesterday and my love affair has grown! the FF is just super and when she was in the shop I missed her. Last week even in the misery that was Zurich October weather she shone. and back in the SOF she now shines even more. Basically I am still over the moon with her 10k on and so happy about the choice to get her! Speed has never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary, that's what gets you! Sounds like a great acquisition. Any negatives so far? How do you find the steering?

The tank is way too small for a GT car, I cant do 450klm without a re fill and that is a pain. The cruise control could be easier to use and easier to set. The hard drive on the music system is a great idea BUT a problem is if you download all tracks from a album it stores them in alphabetical order not in track order. The "judder" when the 4wd kicks in is noticeable. As you can see its mostly not huge problems. The steering is light and responsive, but I like that as it feels like a large 458 and gives it that full on sports car feel IMO I do love the car, Thursday she is going to Barcelona, back Saturday and a run up and back to Milan on Sunday........ She is a GT for me in every sense, and every journey a pure driving pleasure! Speed has never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary, that's what gets you! Surprised on the tank size, the one on the 612 is huge. Boxer Current: F40, F50, 430 Scuderia Past: 612 Scaglietti, 360 Modena, 360 Challenge, 550, 575, 365BB, 512BB, 456 GT, F355 GTS, 365 GTB/4 Daytona, 308 GTB | |

IMO the tank should be 100ltrs to make the car a full on GT car. Its lack of range between fills is irritating, But I guess they also did not expect an idiot like me blasting his way all over europe on a weekly basis Speed has never killed anyone.
