The FF does look nice in silver, but I'm biased toward the silvers and greys. I am probably more curious about how it looks in situ than how it drives. It's a angular creature...

Great reviews, Boxer - hope to add some thoughts next week.

Cheers!
Colonel, I am very interested in seeing what you think of the FF, especially given your experience with the 612.

Thanks for sharing your ff experience.

How did it feel in the city ( size wise ), or was it more noticeable on the B roads.

Also, if you don't mind how was it received by passers by or people on the street, obviously not as much as a red F50.

I like the ff, and it seems to suit darker colours and as its usp is they are offering it as a DD I imagine greys and black will be popular to try and blend in more. But the silver looks very nice indeed, and wheels and spec suit the car very nice.

Interesting that all the US dealers got their demos spec'ed the same, in silver.

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.

Silver fits the FF nicely. By far the best color I have seen it in. It does not turn heads the same way a F50 or even a 458 does. Much more understated which is preferrable for a DD.

Great write up Boxer

What did you think of the Stop-Go feature? Personally I'm not fond of it purely because I still like to hear the car idle when stopped at a traffic light etc.

Unfortunately my time in the FF wasn't long, so didn't fiddle around to try find a setting that allows one to turn it off, if there is such an option?

I'm sure there is an option in the software to turn it off.

Thanks. Never used the Stop Go feature (didn't even know it existed). Must have been turned off or disabled on the FF I was given.

You can turn it off if fitted but it is an option, so may not have been on the FF you tried. On the 458 there are some options that cannot go together, for instance if you want racing harnasses you can't have the HELE system. Some homologation thing (or excuse).
