Default Dealer called - 599 Replacement +Alonso

Got the call today that there are two new releases from Ferrari.

1st - 40 Alonso 599's that will outperform the GTO. Ferrari bean counters must have located a bunch more bodies and over bought on GTO parts.

2nd - The new 599 replacement that strongly resembles the 8C. The owner of the dealer watched it at Fiorano.

Anyone have pictures of either of these?

Chicago ... I would take the Alonso in a heartbeat.

My guess is the 40 are spoken for - maybe FNA will toss STL a bone

jerk

I bet those with the GTO's (of which wayyy more than the claimed 599 have been built) will be really pissed off now that they don't have the "best and greatest" 599.

I'm really nervous about the 599 replacement...one more ugly car like the Cali and FF, and I might be an Aston guy from now on.

I think the Aperta was the way to go vs the GTO - IMO

The new replacement for the 599 from what I was told is extremely well done and strongly resembled the 8C which I think is a stunning car. If I were betting - feel comfortable in saying it's going to be more appealing than the 458.

looks sorta like a 612. really wish they would make a clean break and come up with something outrageously different.

I think the sales guy is full of beans - been told it looks a lot more like a 8C than anything else.

that pic doesn't look anything like an 8C, but who knows.

I would like to see a return to the classic, organic lines of vintage Ferraris and not the Chris Bangle look-alike nonsense.

Interesting ... that could also be the Alonso of which there are supposedly being 40 produced.

Gotta agree with Chas - when Ferrari stopped sequencing their limited production runs it makes it quite difficult to believe their numbers.
