I agree. I saw there was a meeting in Mount Tremblanc Quebec - which has some great road - as I have done it once on the bike. But it is about 800 km away. A bit much for a 2 day weekend. Even meeting half way like Thunder Bay or Winterpeg would be a good haul.Greg "The ride is the reason. The destination is just the excuse! " - Mr. Joe Katz |

Do we have a roster of owners/cars in the London/Waterloo area? There's lots of Toronto guys, and their Gran Turismo runs are very well organized. If there's enough owners locally, we just need to get moving! Looks like spring is our next chance..I see there is snow in the forecast tonight |

I agree that some local action west of the GTA would be nice. We started with a small group on yesterday. There are folks in the London area that we need to bring on board. Funny how the weather is. The run on Sunday was full wet. Then when all through, the sun came out long enough to was the dirt away prior to winterizing the hose. Despite that, please don't use the S - word..... I just wanted to post a public "thank you" to Alex Armellin of Daytona Motors for helping me when I really needed help ! I just imported a 1999 355 F1 and we had to convert over the Daytime Running Lights . Well my mechanic is good....but the whole conversion thing had him baffled as he is a BMW trained guy and was concerned that if he did something wrong....it could be serious. But after posting a "help me" on this site Alex offered to help...guided my mechanic through the process....and I'm now driving my beautiful 355 on the road ! Without Alex's help...I would have been sunk ! Thank you Alex ! You are a real credit to the Ferrari community ! BarrieM5, Kelowna, BC |

As I said above, Alex's help allowed me to get the car registered before the RIV importation time limit "ran out" ! The weather has been great out here in BC ....so I probably put 250 km's on the car this weekend ! Had the top down and was soaking up the sunshine and really getting that paddle shifting down with the F1 transmission ! My everyday car has always had a 6 speed ( 2 M5's and assorted other BMW's) so the left leg had to be "re-trained"....but I'm getting it....and I must say even though the car is a '99 and the paddle shift technology has really advanced since .....it's fun to drive ! Especially when you are are turning 6-7 K revolutions....you just keep your foot "planted"....and up shift ! Barrie in Kelowna, BC |

have owned a 12cyl, thought it was great. don't carry a wallet (bad for the spine) and don't sell goldfish. But i would like a 612. Can't afford it right now though. I will, however be in montreal 11-13 Juin, 2010, for a speed contest.
