Default 365boxer suspension details

Hi
I am just on the way to restore my boxer suspension. Does anybody know what kind of surface treat (may be zinc plated?) or what kind of colour the lever of the suspension had?
What colour had the center part the carries the two ball joints and the brake disk and what surface had the bolt in this time (blue or yellow zinc plated?).
Does anybody know something about the different sources for rubber or polyurethan bushes for the rear suspension and for the dampers ?
Thanks for any information about these details.

Hi Tom,

nice to see another 365BB owner here!

I have not had my 365 for long and I also don't have access to it at the moment as I'm in West Africa, so I can't help you much. But here's a pic of my car's suspension, maybe this'll give you some ideas. Sorry, it's hardly ideal, but I can't provide you with more at the moment.

P.S. Would you mind PM'ing me your chassis number and some info on your car? I like to keep my registry updated on where the 365BB's reside and I can perhaps also give some info that forum members here helped gather. No obligation of course!

Tom, Looking at pictures in Nathan Beehl's book the Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer on page 68, it appears that it is yellow zinc plated.

You should be able to source the bushes from one of the following:

I'm not an authority, but I believe that the suspension arms are zinc plated yellow-gold, the busings are black, and the suspension hub and upright are black.
