Default Serial Numbers

This publication (book) is out of print now but the book lists all 365GT/4 BB (387) serial numbers, initial owners/destined countries/ Maranello assembly #'s, Scaglietta manuf. #'s. The book is titled Ferrari Serial Numbers Part I by the Value Guide Inc. by Hilaly A. Raab Jr. It is also known otherwise as THE RED BOOK.

I don't know how useful this is but here is a list I found some time ago. Apart from chassis numbers, models and the odd colour combination it doesn't contain much info.

I also have a book called "The Ferrari Register - Vol III" which list a ton but I've never had the time to go through it and add them all to our database.

Is there any interest in trying to trace all the surviving 365 GT4 BB's ? I would be willing to coordinate the project. Please let me know.

I'm interested in finding all the 365BB's

I have #19343, black with boxer trim and black leather. The last RHD 365BB made and the second from last of all teh 365BBs.

I also know for 17535 which is the first RHD 365BB.

Both these cars are in the UK

Count me in as well. We could possibly setup a private wiki for this or something similar.

To get things started quickly, I have set up a Googlemail account where we can send all the data. The details are:

365Registry@googlemail.com

I will PM the password so we can all access it.

Is this account @googlemail.com or @gmail.com?

It is googlemail. In the UK, Google does not own the gmail suffix so all UK issued gmail accounts have the googlemail.com address. You can still log in to them via www.gmail.com.

I just checked the Googlemail box. Seems we have 2% of the 365 BBs already identified.

I complied all the 365 BB SN we have found to date. Currently it stands at 38 out of 387. Not bad for a month and a half. Does anyone have the chassis numbers for the 365 BBs sold by Nick Cartwright & the Ferrari Centre (Kent High Performance) in the UK last fall ?

sorry I don't have time to help find them. I stopped collecting all s/n because that is quite impossible with the time I have, and currently I have to finish up school this year so that is taking a lot of time.

Was that the Chiaro blue/beige one, reg. HPG 919N ?
If so that was #18267.
I have only seen eight 365GT4 BBs.
Of those I only have chassis numbers on
#17861 - Reg. RPL 647R - brown
#18165 - Reg. ORH 271P - red
#18129 - Reg. JPM 845N - red
#19434 - Reg. 365 ANP - black

Yes, HPG 919N is the one. Thanks. I heard that it went to a new home last fall.

What were the major differences between the 3 designs?
